Station 29 on the job in Chews Landing (82) on January 3, 2017
Station 272 Lawnside with a 3 Car MVA on the White Horse Pike with entrapment
On Friday night March 9th around 2300 hours Station 272, Utility 29 along with ALS and BLS were dispatched to a MVA with entrapment at the intersection of WHP & Center Oak Ave. Chief Mark Jay was OIC and gave report of conditions at scene.
Crews from 272 began extrication on vehicle 1 as Station 29 began extrication on vehicle 3, vehicle 2 had no one entrapped.
Medics along with BLS stabilized patients while crews were in service. Extrication was completed patients were packaged and loaded as crews began removing debris from the highway.

Early Morning MVA Rollover W/Ejection on Evesham Rd.
Magnolia Fire Company was dispatched around 3:30 am on Dec 21st to a motor vehicle accident rescue assignment with passenger ejection.
Chief Wolf arrived first and gave report to put helicopter on standby. He had a victim out of the vehicle laying in the parking lot. An expedite was given to EMS.
Utility 29 hit the street w/6 personnel including 1 EMT. Second due out of the station was Engine 29 which was sent to LZ (landing zone) along with 2902. The LZ was to be set up at the Magnolia Rec. Center.
Upon EMS's evaluation the helicopter was put on stand down. and the engine co. was brought to the scene. Patient was packaged into BLS (basic life support) and was transported to Cooper Trauma in critical condition with head injuries, as police began their investigation into the possible cause.
The investigation has shown vehicle hit curbing near Trace Drive and due to damp road conditions lost control slid across Eveham Rd. striking curb in front of the Sunoco Sta. At that point the vehicle started it's rollover and landed a few feet from the gas pumps.
After Magnolia Towing righted vehicle, firefighters addressed fluids and debris. The vehicle was de-energized and loaded on a flatbed. Crews were back available around 5:15 am.

Camden Fire Mt Vernon & Mt Ephriam
12 Alarm Fire on 6/09/11 temperatures at 98 degrees,Quint 29 was in service after initial fire alarm was struck. We were in on 7th Alarm crews working on containment and putting out final stages of fire
Head-on MVA at White Horse Pike and Evesham Road
Station 29 was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident / rescue assignment in the early A.M. on July 15th. First due officer reported a 2 vehicle MVA involving a Dump Truck and a Mini Van. The Dump Truck was fully invloved with poles and wires down on the vehicle and that all drivers were out of the vehicles. An exposure problem for a dwelling at 109 N. White Horse Pike was noted. Crews went in service to protect the exposure. PSE&G and mutual aid companies were dispatched. Foam Task Force was also special called. Police shut down the pike and Camden County Fire Police were called into assist. The drivers were transported to area hospitals by BLS 29, and BLS 9.
Crews were standing by until PSE&G could secure the power and at that time foam was used to extinguish the fire. Police and fire units remained on scene for close to 8 hours. Both drivers received minor injuries.

MVA Warwick Road and Atlantic Ave.
2 Car motor vehicle accident at this intersection resulted in (1) injury and (1) refusal. Crews from UTILITY 29 Secured power to both vehicles, applied oil dry on leaking fluids, and assisted cleaning other debris' left at scene.
