Happy Holidays from your Fire Company
We want to take time to remind you that as the holiday's arrive, we would like everyone to think about safety!
First inspect all lights before hanging or using. If you see frayed or cracked wires on extension cords please disgard and by new ones.
If your tradition is a real tree, remember to water frequently and once the needles start to drop easily it is time to take it down.
We want to make your Holiday celebration as safe and memorable as can be. So from all of us to all of you Happy Holidays.
We will be coming around on Christmas Eve with Santa, we start at 3:00 and will be passing candy canes to everyone who comes out. See you on Christmas Eve!

SMOKE DETECTORS & CO DETECTORS
Routinely check and clean your SMOKE DETECTORS and CO DETECTORS. Walk by push the button make sure it is operable. Teach everyone in the family on how it operates and what it is for! Have at least (1) working SMOKE DETECTOR on each floor. A CO DETECTOR shouls be installed in a hallway of sleeping areas. Any questions on installation or location please feel free to contact us.
PLAN ESCAPE DRILLS
Every family should sit down, plan and practice an ESCAPE DRILL. It is as easy as sitting around the dinner table and asking if there is (2) ways out from where everyone sleeps. First way would be the normal way out, second could be out a window, or to another room and out a window.
If your SMOKE DETECTOR awakes you and you encounter smoke, STAY LOW and CRAWL! FRESHER and CLEANER air will be closer to the floor.
Once out of the house (STAY OUT), have a predetermined meeting place at an outside location ( EX. front yard, by a tree, driveway, sidewalk). Keep it far enough away to be safe but where others can be seen from the house.
TOT FINDER DECALS
These are to be placed on the window of a childs bedroom. You should see us for use and proper placement.
FIRE EXTINGUISHERS
Are very important, they can control, limit damage and extension of most common household fires! Residents can come to your FIRE COMPANY for info on the types, sizes, and proper use of FIRE EXTINGUISHERS!
